Lamy joy calligraphy pen 1 1mm l15 11 by lamy. It s priced higher than the lamy safari by a few dollars but it s still under usd 30. Page 1 of 2 lamy 1 1 italics nib posted in fountain pen reviews. I like how the new smokey clear nib unit looks but some part of me still miss the original orange one. Boasting the durable build and same beautiful design as lamy s other pens the joy stands out because of its extra wide nib.

However i wanted a slightly narrower nib and the joy al 1 1 was the answer. The black is really shiny with just the red too on the end i wish i d gone for white now. I m used to the safari pens so knew that i d be getting a plastic body with the ink cut outs etc. The safari has an excellent ink flow and makes terrific lines. 2 people found this helpful.
